Six endangered Mexican wolf cubs have made their public debut at the Mexico City zoo, as zookeepers seek to bring the species back from the brink of extinction.

There were only about 20 of this wolf species in the wild in Mexico in 2017.

But conservation programs have bred about 240 in captivity.
