Guangzhou's asymptomatic COVID-19 patient infected at quarantine facility

The city of Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province, reported one asymptomatic COVID-19 case on Thursday, according to Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission. 

The local health authorities traced the origin of the infection and analyzed that the asymptomatic patient was infected from an imported case at a local hotel, designated as a quarantine facility. 

The 40-year-old asymptomatic patient earlier worked at the quarantine facility to receive international arrivals. 

So far, a total of 148,295 people in the city have completed the tests and no new cases of COVID-19 have emerged.
