Underwater volcano erupts in Japan's Ogasawara Islands

An underwater volcano in the Funka Asane area of the Ogasawara Islands erupted on Sunday, NHK reported, citing the Japan Meteorological Agency.
A volcanic warning for nearby waters has been issued, calling on ships to stay vigilant for falling rocks, floating debris and the rapid spread of volcanic gas and ash.
