At least four people were killed after an electric bike store caught fire early Sunday morning in Beijing’s Haidian District.

The fire department received reports of the blaze at 1:23 a.m. BJT and deployed 12 fire engines to the scene.

The fire, spreading across some 50 square meters, was put out at 1:58 a.m.BJT.

The investigation into the accident is underway.
