At least two people were killed and 25 others injured in an explosion at the Rehmania Mosque during Friday prayers in Quetta, Pakistan's Pashtunabad area, according to reports.
The victims were sent to the hospital after the incident happened at 1:15 p.m. local time.
The blast was carried out through planted device, and the explosion was so loud that it left windowpanes of the houses in nearby densely populated areas shattered, Xinhua reported citing local police.
Police and paramilitary troops have cordoned off the area and the investigation is currently underway.
The cause of the explosion is still unclear and no group has claimed responsibility so far.
