New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern will visit China from March 31 to April 1, the Chinese Foreign Ministry confirmed on Monday.
The visit, at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, will be Ardern's first visit to China since she took office.
During her visit, leaders of the two countries will exchange views on bilateral ties and issues of common concern, said the ministry.
China expects that the trip will help the two sides increase mutual understanding and trust, expand exchanges and cooperation in various fields and inject new impetus into a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, said the ministry.
