In the ongoing Chinese Super League (CSL), Dong Xuesheng has scored two goals to help Hebei Fortune battle back from two goals down, to beat Jiangsu Suning 3-2 at home and grab their second win in 11 games so far this season.
Ten seconds into the game, Alex Teixeira clashed with Zhang Chendong and the referee awarded a free kick to Jiangsu. Li Ang stepped up and scored a brilliant set piece to give the visitors the lead.
It was 2-0 when Teixeira slotted home from close range in the 14th minute. But 10 minutes later, Javier Mascherano set up Ayoub El Kaabi for an acrobatic header.
Then it was all square when El Kaabi nodded down nicely for Dong to finish after half an hour. And the comeback was complete before half-time, when the Chinese international tapped in another assist from the Moroccan. No goals were scored in the second half as Hebei clinched a morale-boosting win.
Elsewhere, newly promoted Wuhan Zall notched up their third win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Tianjin Tianhai at home. Leonardo Baptistao got them going in the 18th minute with a close range header.
Eleven minutes before the end, John Evrard Kouassi made it two after finishing off Jiang Zilei's parried effort. Tianhai pulled one back in stoppage time after a strike from Renatinho, but it was not enough. Wuhan held on to win the game and climbed up to the 10th spot in the league table while their opponents are still at the foot of the table, right behind Beijing Renhe, who beat Tianjin Teda 2-1 in the day's other game.
