“The Great Wall,” a much anticipated China-Hollywood production directed by acclaimed director Zhang Yimou and starring Matt Damon, hit Chinese screens last weekend, amassing 67.48 million US dollars over its first four days. 
The project has been seen as spelling a new type of collaboration between US and Chinese moviemakers as Hollywood seeks to tap into a booming market.
