Ticket sales of the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup in France have reached a new milestone after surpassing the one million mark, according to FIFA on Tuesday.

It took the world's top women's soccer tournament just four days to sell over one million tickets, which is quite impressive. Of the 52 games, 14 saw their tickets sold out, including the opener between the host France and South Korea, the game between the U.S. and Thailand on Tuesday, as well as the two semifinals and the final, which will take place in Lyon.

Ticket prices started at nine euros (about 10 U.S. dollars).

All of the first-round games in all six groups are already sold out. The 24 teams have scored in total 38 goals, which means each game will witness 3.17 goals, a very exciting number. There were three games in which the two teams got more than three goals: France 4-0 South Korea (June 6); Spain 3-1 South Africa (June 8) and U.S. 13-0 Thailand (June 11).

China in Group B will meet their second opponent South Africa on Thursday at the Parc des Princes in Paris. Having lost to Germany 1-0 in their first game, the "Steel Roses" not only have to claim victory over South Africa, but also need to make it as big as possible to collect more goal differences before they can have an advantageous spot in the competition of making the next stage.
