Geng noted that DPRK adheres to the implementation of the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, saying the general direction has not changed that the two countries committed to resolving the Korean Peninsula issue through dialogue.
On June 12 last year, the summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and DPRK leader Kim Jong Un was held in Singapore, marking the first-ever meeting between the leaders of the two countries.
