Nadine Labaki's "Capernaum", winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, is on show in Chinese cinemas. The film tells the story of Zain, a young Syrian refugee who flees his negligent parents and uses his wits to survive the streets of Beirut. It is a tragic portrayal of the poverty and hopelessness of refugees and migrants who live in Lebanon's slums.
