"Three evils" is also called "three evil forces," namely terrorism, separatism, and extremism. The term was first clearly defined internationally in June 2001 on the first SCO summit. Taking the maintenance of regional security and stability as a priority, the SCO has been making unremitting efforts to crack down on "three evils."
