Chinese President Xi Jinping attended a welcome ceremony hosted by Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov in Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan, on Thursday. Xi is paying a state visit to Kyrgyzstan from June 12 to 14, where he will also attend the 19th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to be held in Bishkek.
