China has decided to extend anti-dumping duties on certain alloy-steel seamless tubes and pipes for high temperature and pressure service from the United States and the European Union, the Commerce Ministry said in a statement on Friday.

The anti-dumping tax rate applicable to steel tubes and pipes is between 57.9 and 147.8 percent on companies in the U.S. and the EU.

The decision was based on the result of an anti-dumping review of some steel tubes imports from the U.S. and the EU by the authorities in May.

Earlier, China imposed 13.0-13.2 percent tariffs on companies in the EU, and 14.1 percent on U.S. exporters in 2014, which expired on May 10, 2019.
