A total of 14 Chinese animation companies and institutions have taken part in the Annecy International Animation Film Festival in France, including CCTV Animation Incorporation and Beijing Animation Game Industry Association.

They have brought hundreds of animated films and cooperative projects, attracting many foreign companies.

Alexis Lavillat, manager of Normaal Animation, said: “We come here to talk about co-production. We want to make an animated series and share our experience between China and France.”

In addition, the China Animation Showcase Conference was held on Thursday.

Ten Chinese animations were introduced, including "Chinese Myth Story" and "Birds Paying Homage to the Phoenix." They showcased the history of China and the current development of Chinese animation.

Fredrique Vinel, a French producer, said: “I am deeply impressed by the diversity of Chinese animation. The traditional myths are colorful. There are also many other things that we Europeans like, such as comedy animation, and those focusing on family life, the relationship between parents and children. I didn't expect there were so many choices before I came here.”
