Tajikistan was an important stop on the ancient Silk Road. It plays a unique role in the cultural and economic exchanges between the East and the West. From June 14 to 16, Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the fifth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) to be held in its capital Dushanbe, and pay a state visit to Tajikistan.
