Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the fifth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), which is scheduled for June 14 to 15 in Dushanbe, capital of Central Asian country Tajikistan.

As one of CICA's 27 state members, China has always played an active role in the forum and chaired the latest CICA summit back in 2014 in its eastern coastal city of Shanghai.
