Two oil tankers were attacked Thursday in the Gulf of Oman as Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe makes a peacekeeping visit to Iran. One of them, the Kokuka Courageous tanker, belongs to a Japanese shipping company. The U.S. accuses Iran of behind the attacks, but Tehran categorically rejected the claim, calling the assertion "unfounded."
