A total of 24 people were killed in a car accident in the northeast region of South Africa on Sunday, a spokesperson for the Department of Transport said.
The accident happened at around 10:30 p.m. local time when a passenger bus hit another vehicle on a highway nears the village of Ga-Maphalle in Limpopo province.
The deceased on the bus are on their way back after attending the celebration of the South African Youth Festival on Sunday, according to local media.
