In the late hours on Wednesday, a continuous downpour whipped Bazhong City in southwest China's Sichuan Province and brought flash floods and mudslides, blocking parts of major roads in the region. Hundreds of people affected by the downpour have been evacuated to safer places. There have been no reports of casualties so far.
