Disease prevention and resettlement work is being carried out in earthquake-hit areas of southwest China's Sichuan Province, with people smoothly restoring their normal life. The first batch of resettlement shelters in Shuanghe Town were erected on Thursday. As the resettlement site was set on an uncultivated slope, leveling the land before building the shelters was required. According to the construction personnel, the first batch of shelters can accommodate about 1,000 people.
