June 20 is celebrated as World Refugee Day. The number of people who were forced to displace by war and conflict exceeded 70 million at the end of 2018. Refugees fled to shelter countries like Turkey, Pakistan, Lebanon and Jordan. In Jordan's case, its economy has been struggling and declining. In 2018, the country's total public debt constituted 96.4% of GDP. What's worse, international aid to Jordan has been decreasing. How will the refugees survive?
