5G technology meets autonomous vehicles at the Sangam Self-Driving Festival in Seoul, South Korea, sponsored by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the South Korean transport ministry. Seventeen local companies and universities, including SK Telecom, KT, and Samsung Electronics, are participating in the event. Visitors can experience the world's first 5G convergence autonomous vehicle technology. In addition, a vehicle connected to a high-speed 5G network will offer test-runs to pre-registered drivers on a cordoned-off city street.
