As the China-U.S. trade war escalates, a documentary filmmaker has been keeping watch. British director Malcolm Clarke's documentary "Better Angels" will make its China premiere on July 2.  Focusing on stories of ordinary people from both countries, the film aims to convey the idea that the trade friction mainly comes from misunderstandings of each other's cultures. Clarke indicates that in an era when great powers treat each other as imaginary enemies, culture could be the best way to promote mutual trust. CGTN reporter Li Jianhua has a one-on-one interview with the director.
