Homs, a city retaken by Syria from rebels in 2017, has become a major destination for displaced Syrians returning home. But awaiting them is devastation in a place they once called home. The United Nations says a total of 1.4 million Syrian refugees returned to their homes last year. CGTN follows some of them to Homs to see how life will go on in a war-torn country.
