The China Earthquake Network Center reports that a 5.4-magnitude earthquake hit Gongxian County, Yibin City of southwest China's Sichuan Province, on Saturday night local time. A total of 31 people suffered minor injuries, with 21 of them receiving treatment at hospitals, local authorities said at a press conference on Sunday morning after the earthquake.
