Micron Technology, the largest computer memory chip maker in the U.S., announced Tuesday that it has resumed some shipments to Chinese tech giant Huawei. A halt of business came after the U.S. government banned Huawei from buying American technology. But Micron claimed it found that "a subset" of components it sells to Huawei was not subject to the rules, as overseas products from American companies are exempt from Trump's prohibition. Reports say Micron may be the first to go public about the issue, while many other U.S. firms have also found ways to get around the sanctions and continue sales to Huawei.
