Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Indonesian counterpart Joko Widodo agreed on pushing forward the Belt and Road Initiative. President Xi stressed his willingness to open up new prospects for win-win cooperation with Indonesia, as China and Indonesia will celebrate 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties next year. Xi called for both sides to increase sharing of governance experience, and enhance infrastructure cooperation, like the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway. Widodo said his country attaches great importance to promoting bilateral ties with China.
