Summer is a good time for relaxing and taking a vacation. Visiting the Puzhehei Butterfly Valley in China's southern Yunnan Province is a good choice during the season. Visitors not only get to see the pretty flowers, but also have a chance to see various kinds of butterflies.

Located in Yunnan Puzhehei Scenic Area, the Butterfly Valley has attracted many visitors.

They can closely interact with the butterflies, and even dance with them.

The butterfly breeding base has more than 30 varieties and more than 1,200 butterflies so far.

And the Butterfly Valley is a new section in the Puzhehei Scenic Area.

Qi Xuchang, the organizer, said, "Our Butterfly Valley is located at the side of the highway. It's easy for visitors to come. Right now it's a good time for visiting and we welcome tourists."

Regarded as a "paradise on earth," Yunnan has always been a favorite destination among tourists for its natural scenery.

Puzhehei means "a pond teaming with fish and shrimp" in the language of the Yi, a local ethnic group.

Famous for its crystal clear water, karst peaks, green hills and caves, the scenic area is renowned for its beauty.
