A large number of Hong Kong residents participated in a rally at the Tamar Park in Admiralty to support Hong Kong police enforcement. Many groups and individuals carried supportive slogans in the rain. They criticized the demonstrators who had surrounded police headquarters earlier and demanded that violent attackers be brought to justice. Since the police protect the public and maintain order, the residents said they must support the officers.
