Since June, keyword searches for "sorted garbage bins" on E-commerce platform Taobao have increased by more than 3,000 percent year on year. The sale of sorted trash can products in June increased by more than 500 percent year on year. Shanghai users account for 65 percent of total users of sorted garbage bins, accounting for more than 85 percent of the total trading volume.
