Fire and ice are elements that rarely meet in nature. But in a national park in Iceland, massive glaciers and 10 active volcanoes exist harmoniously side by side. Due to global warming, this one-of-a-kind scenery is rapidly deteriorating. Now the park is making a bid for UNESCO's World Heritage status.
