Chinese President Xi Jinping met with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Beijing on Tuesday. President Xi welcomed Erdogan during a ceremony at the Great Hall of the People. The two leaders discussed ways to work together to maintain peace and stability in the Middle East and deal with the challenges facing international trade.
