Chinese President Xi Jinping met with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Beijing on Tuesday. The two leaders discussed ways to work together to maintain peace and stability in the Middle East and deal with the challenges facing international trade. Yusuf Erim from Istanbul, an analyst of Turkish politics and foreign policy, said ties between China and Turkey are important for the two countries and global stability.
