Vodka, caviar, ice hockey and motorcycle, something Russia is well known about. This week, a cross-border motorcycling festival kicks start at the Sino-Russian border cities of Heihe (Chinese side) and Blagoveshchensk (Russian side). Hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts take a ride along the border to celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties, as this year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Chinese-Russian relations and the second Russia-China Year of Regional Cooperation. Also, the four-day event has attracted participants from all over China.

Russian riders told CGTN that motorcycling in Russia is a source of positive emotions and inspiration, personal doping, lifestyle and a way of creative expression. Russia-made bikes are so popular in the West today that almost all newly manufactured Ural motorcycles are exported to the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Their list of loyal fans includes the likes of Hollywood star Brad Pitt.
