My next relaxing trip was driving to Monaco to see the Cote d'Azur race. I like the quiet streets of Monaco in the evening. The small town named Oz is an exotic place, which is highly recommended for those who like romantic places.

I arrived at a friend's house and had a lovely talk. The next morning we got up early and followed my friend’s secret training route. The scenery was excellent along the way with many sunflower fields. The racers of the 13th stage of this year’s Tour de France would also pass this route. It took us about two hours to cycle for some 60 kilometers on an average altitude of 1,200 meters.

After a short reunion with my good friend, I had to say goodbye since the 12th stage of the Tour de France would be held soon. I returned to Alpe d'Huez and prepared for the next race.
The atmosphere was very fervent at the 12th stage of the Tour de France.
Finally, here comes the toughest Tour du Mont Blanc, with an accumulated altitude of 8,000 meters and 10 slopes. There were three tough slopes in the middle, and the longest climb of 40 kilometers and step-slope of 45 kilometers awaited. The distance was very long and it was extremely difficult, so riders had to start before dawn.

The weather was cloudy and rainy from time to time. It was very cold on the snowy mountains at such attitudes. I didn’t even have a chance to take out my phone to take pictures.
My certification of accomplishing the race.
It was dark when I got back to the finish line. I received the medal, a shirt and the certification of the game. I rode nearly 17 hours, about 330 kilometers, climbing an elevation that comes close to Mt. Qomolangma. In fact, it was all about persistence and reasonable allocation of physical strength. My body was numb at the end of the game.
I went back to Lyon after all the races.
My tour in France started in Lyon and ended the same place. The exciting experience is still fresh in my mind, and it will be, forever.
