Unlike some beautiful flowers that need a lot of care, the garden cosmos is described as a plant that is "ridiculously easy" to grow. It can handle droughts, poor soil conditions, and general neglect, as long as sunlight and adequate moisture is provided. With only a little care, you can get a whole garden blooming with cosmos flowers.
