Hailstones pounded many parts of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province in July 2, damaging houses, vehicles and crops. Rainstorm and hail began to fall around 16:15 local time in Gannan County and lasted several minutes. The hailstones, some of which were as big as eggs, left the windows of some houses and many vehicles broken or damaged. According to authorities, rain will continue to batter most parts of the province in the next two days.
