A dramatic growth in the water volume at Hukou Waterfall due to rainfall and flood discharging in the upper stream of the Yellow River in recent days created a stunning view for tourists. Interconnected, the tiered waterfalls stretched over 300 meters. The roaring water crashed into grooves, triggering rounds of white spray in the air, which has attracted large numbers of visitors and photographers who appreciate the magnificent scene. The water flow rate within the scenic area of Hukou Waterfall has surpassed 2,000 cubic meters per second, causing some parts of the scenic spot to become submerged by water. The administration department has thus taken multiple measures to guarantee its visitors' safety. "We've repaired and reinforced the safety barriers in the core scenic areas. We also set up stage planks in some water areas to ensure the tourists visit these areas as usual. Meanwhile, for those areas with potential safety risks, we have set up warning lines and sent more security personnel to keep patrolling," said Hao Bin, a staff member of the Hukou Waterfall Scenic Spot.
