Yin Wenjie, a 27-year-old veteran, chased a thief who was stealing valuables from a vehicle parked outside a compound in Yangxin County in central China on June 20. As Yin went up to stop the thief, the accomplice came and stabbed Yin five times. However, Yin didn't let go of them until he got weak from severe blood loss. He subsequently called the police and is now in a hospital for treatment.
