Heavy rainstorm battered east China's Zhejiang and Anhui provinces, with rescuers responding to save dozens who were left trapped by flash flooding. In Zhejiang's Taizhou City, firefighters saved six migrant workers from a flooded water reservoir, and rescued 48 students and 10 teachers in a mountainous area. Firefighters in Zhejiang's Lishui City saved nine tourists from raging river torrents using a ladder as a makeshift bridge to help them cross over to safety. Authorities warned more rain will hit and reminded residents to take the necessary precautionary measures.
