U.S. trade deficit hit five-month high of $55.5 bln in May

The U.S. trade deficit widened in May by more than forecast to a five-month high as imports surged at the highest rate since 2015. The U.S. Commerce Department Data shows the gap increased more than eight percent in May to 55.5 billion U.S. dollars, the highest since December.
