The Beijing International Youth Tourism Festival opened on Thursday in Beijing. 

Hosted by the Beijing Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau, the festival will run for three months. It aims to help young people from abroad savor the rich culture and urban vibe of the capital city.

Three themed programs, featuring Beijing's distinctive bookstores, former celebrity residences, museums, art galleries and well-known theaters will be staged for visitors to experience what Beijing has to offer.
