Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City, China's new UNESCO World Heritage site, were opened to the public on Sunday in the Yuhang District of Hangzhou City, east China's Zhejiang Province. /VCG Photo

A ceremony held at the site also launched an online booking system that limits the daily number of visitors to 3,000. /VCG Photo

The administrative committee of the site called on visitors to do their best to protect the cultural relics, as only a few facilities have been installed at the site. /VCG Photo

Covering 14.34 square kilometers, the site unearthed cultural relics of an ancient city that dates back to over 5,000 years ago. /VCG Photo
