Car bomb kills 14 in Afghanistan's eastern Ghazni

A car bomb that rocked Ghazni city, the capital of Afghanistan's eastern Ghazni Province, on Sunday has killed six civilians and eight security personnel, local officials said. 

At least 140 people were wounded in the attack, according to Afghanistan’s Intelligence Directorate (NDS). 

Officials said one child was killed in the attack and at least 27 children were among the scores of people wounded.

The blast occurred at 08:30 a.m. local time next to a security base in Ghazni city, the official said, adding that the number of casualties may go up.
