Chinese startup develops robots to help patients walk again

Chinese robot expert Gu Jie, also CEO of the start-up Fourier Intelligence, has been developing exoskeleton robots to help paralyzed patients walk again, together with his colleagues. Dubbed the Chinese "Iron man maker," Gu designed an exoskeleton robot named Fourier X1, which consists of a complete drive and control system, a pair of smart crutches, a multi-sensor system, and an adjustable structure of active joints. His robot can help patients to regain strength and walk again.
