Torrential rain hit many places in east China's Jiangxi Province from Saturday night to Sunday, causing landslides and massive flooding in some townships and villages. The torrential rain started from Saturday night, causing severe waterlogging in Linchuan District, Lichuan County, Guangchang County of Fuzhou City, destroying some roads and bridges and severely damaging the power facilities. With the help of rescuers and staff of townships and villages, the villagers were safely evacuated to a relocation site.
