Former Chinese Super League (CSL) champion Guangzhou Evergrande confirmed the signing of striker Elkeson. The Brazilian player rejoins the club after three-and-a-half seasons with Shanghai SIPG.

The 30-year-old returns to the club where he won three Chinese Super League titles and two Asian Champions League crowns in a three-year spell from 2013, before signing for SIPG at the start of 2016, where he won the league title last season.

Elkeson has signed for Guangzhou, who trail Chinese Super League leaders Beijing Guoan by two points, after SIPG announced the signing of Austria international Marko Arnautovic from West Ham United, on Monday.

"Elkeson's return will surly beef up the team. We believe that he could make a great contribution and give wonderful performances," said Guangzhou Evergrande.

Tianjin Tianhai announced their signing of S. Korean defender Song Ju-hun from K league team Gyeongnam and Brazilian attacking midfielder, Leonardo Rodriguez Pereira. 

The 33-year-old Leonardo has played for the S. Korean side Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors (JHD) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) club Al Jazira. 

Meanwhile, struggling Beijing Renhe has announced Luis Garcia Plaza has returned to take the helm at the club, replacing Serbian coach Aleksandar Stanojevic.

The Spaniard was in charge for 18 months and led the club to an eighth-place at the end of last season before departing to join Villarreal in La Liga for a short unsuccessful stint.

Renhe is currently in 15th place in the 16-team league having played 16 of the 30 games of the season.

"Beijing Renhe hopes Garcia can lead the team through our difficulties, helping us come out of the slump, and open a new chapter," the club said in a statement.
