A villager in southwest China's Yunnan Province got a shock when out hunting for some local mushrooms on Friday, July 5, after encountering a monster-sized mushroom cluster measuring more than 1.5 meters in diameter. With its unique geological and weather conditions, Yunnan breeds a variety of wild edible fungi, with the current rainy season usually being the best time for residents living in forest areas to venture out in search of mushrooms, a favorite local delicacy.
