China's Ministry of National Defense is demanding the U.S. immediately cancel a potential 2.2-billion-U.S.-dollar arms sale to Taiwan. The Chinese military has lodged severe representations to the U.S. and is also calling on the U.S. to cut military ties with Taiwan in all forms.
